The whole thread is a double, not just individual replies. Unless I’m seeing double. Lol. :nerd:

Now that is my kind of way to bring in the wood. Role right up to the porch.

Yes, it can last a week or more. Then it is just a couple steps from the stove. You can see the wood rack and the stove. Was making applesauce on the stove in this picture.

Methinks I was either sleeping or drinking too much.  But there are posts in both so I'll just leave them and call it a senior moment. :headbang:

I caught some of the 2 Michigan football games yesterday. There was snow on the field. Especially, in East Lansing for the Michigan St game.

I just brought in a little more today myself, although not having a Kubota, the wheelbarrow was my tool of choice. This was completely filled with aspen at the start of the season. I’ve been burning that and black birch I have under my deck. This rack was about 80% empty, so I brought in a mix of red and chestnut oak today. It’s mostly small limb wood splits but I really wanted to get rid of them sooner than later. You can see by the mushrooms that I’ve had them long enough. The small stuff is great for this time of year when daytime highs are above freezing. There’s still some aspen on the bottom and the very top layer.
