I do the same... I spray my stacks staged outside with Permethrin and the stack I feed the stove with in the garage. After a few days/week you can see the dead insects on the cement around the stack. Usually I buy a quart of it, but last time I bought a gallon of the 36% concentrate which was a better deal and should last me many years.

When i owned my house it had a walk out basement. Id have a wheelbarrow or two of wood in the basement and use a tote to bring it upstairs and next to the insert.

I did the same last time! The quarts used to be on Amazon but they dropped it. So, I grabbed a gallon on a DIY pest control site and refill the quart from it since the quart has a measuring pourer like fuel stabilizer.

I do the same! Refill the quart container since it has the measuring pourer on it while trying my best not to spill it all over the place. That stuff is great, kills almost every insect that I come across. I have my best friend and neighbor using it now.

I keep a cord on our patio that I pull from and have an antique kettle on the hearth that holds about a full to half a day's worth depending on temps.
We have a woodbox inside the door that I will fill up when its really cold or nasty weather, so wife doesn't need to go out.

We have about a cord stored on front porch. We have a garden cart that we load and bring in. The cart will be a few days worth.
I like to keep the temps in the house around 80 so we probably go through a little more than some. I hate being cold.

Yes it's a slab. Actually it originally was a walkout basement to roadside. My dad converted that into the Kitchen, dinning area and living room.

I fill our attached garage every week or so, and keep the next load by the stove.

Same here and for the same reasons. I do keep a basket of kindling, enough for a half dozen starts or so, on the hearth.

I have a larger rack that holds 1/6 of a cord of hardwood and right next to it an itty bitty small rack that I put thin splits of spruce in.

I keep the smaller splits of hardwood to the left so I can mix and match as needed.

I fill that up every 2 days if I'm burning all day long. Just filled up today.

I keep a few splits of high BTU good stuff inside at all times, usually on the far ends of the ledge/ hearth for use whenever it gets really cold. I also have a wicker tub/ basket that holds a day or 2 worth of wood. The wicker basket passes my wife's eye test, so that's the primary inside wood storage. When it is going to be really cold for more than a day or 2, I'll bring in a Rubbermaid tub of wood and set that in the living room as well. I'll also put a day or 3's worth in the garage, so I don't have to go outside. Aside from that, I keep at least a cord to 4 on the patio, right outside of the stove room.

I have a Labrador that likes to chew on wood as well. Sometimes we need to cover the wood up with a blanket.:picard:

I love beagles, but 2 of them have to equal a lot of mischief!

I am guessing that stuff isn't available at a place like Menards, or Farm and Fleet.

I couldn't find it at any of those places when I was needing it.

That said... Fleet farm appears to have it.
