Thank you and yes right a home. Can't believe she has only been here a week tomorrow .. Chazsbetterhalf I should name her poopydue.. For just a kitten my goodness'. Midwinter . She sure has gotten bigger in just a week. Hope you're having a great day..

Well I went to my Dr appointment yesterday besides my BP being really high and my o2 level low and lost 13lbs along with my crepitus of my knee is messed up and my head also I'm in good shape. I'm really not surprised with any of it. So they did blood work and took x rays after I saw the Dr.. The Dr put me on meloxicam for the swelling and pain and I am hoping it will help me with the pain when trying to sleep and make work more bearable. I pick the med up tomorrow. Hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving,

Thought you might like to see one of my projects I worked on today.

It's the back wall between that new base and wall cabinets I showed you previously.

I salvaged a small portion of our local Legion dance floor as "payment" for redesigning some columns and footings that they needed relocated during their remodeling.

It's just trial fit for now, as the upper cabinet that will hang above this just got its last coat of poly on it today.

 

This looks really good. Like the flooring and finish. Going to look great all together.

Not sure if you can see it but the flooring still has all the marks from all the dancing that took place on them.

Thought it added character.

Good morning everyone! mat60 I hope the new med works for you.
Turkey turned out very moist, I roasted it breast side down for 2 hrs then breast side up for 1 hr.
Everyone was pleased, what I thought was basic, they thought was extra. I sent everyone home with leftovers but still have a lot to work through.
Today I will do my best to claim a swim lane at the Y, it's bound to be crowded. No black Friday shopping for me.

Good morning! Had a fabulous meal yesterday. Did nothing else the rest of the day other than 2 trips to pick up pallets. Light snow overnight covered everything. Today will consist of taking down all fall decorations and putting up Christmas stuff. It will probably be a 2 day event. I need to build a couple more racks with pallets. May go scouting for trees. Morning All. I think we get a bit of a break from the rain today. Not working at the school today so it is catch up on chores. We are trying to decide whether to go down island tonight for a funeral tomorrow or go down tomorrow morning and stay the night down there. We are suppose to get another mega rain storm tomorrow.

Good afternoon all. Dennis, it probably 30 years since my folks died and at times when I think about them, I still cry. So don't feel bad. I pretty sure who ever invited you, knows what you are going through right now and would understand completely. They are there for you.
Well our dinner was later than we planned. Good thing it was only the two of us. Turns out our over is running 50* cooler. Didn't catch it till the turkey was way overdue to be done. Everything came out good. Got the turkey deboned and the carcass is now simmering for turkey brooth and it smells wonderful.
