So after doing more research, I think I have finally landed on the right stove for me, my family and house.
The Osborn 3300 is a secondary air stove, with a pedestal ( not legs), small blower fan and, to get a little fancy, the nickel overlay on the door.
Now it's just about finding the right price!!

Let ya in on a lil secret...the Drolet line comes from the same factory...very similar models and features, lower price though since no dealer mark up...here is their "factory store"...not sure how the Escape 2100 compares to the 3300? Look to be similar firebox size (2.67 CF/3300 vs 2.84/2100)
DROLET - ESCAPE 2100 WOOD STOVE WITH BRUSHED NICKEL TRIMS
2 in stock and free shipping too...

I'm curious if wherever your getting it has any significant lead times. Many popular stoves are out 5 1/2 months right now!

Have you checked facebook marketplace and or craigslist for a used stove? I got lucky and picked up a decent one for a new room addition we're building.

I didn't buy it yet, found another website that was cheaper. But I have really crappy service right now because I'm at my parents house in Texas. And now I see their blackfriday sale may be over......stupid phones.

Not telling you how to run your household, but you may want to consider snagging that stove before year end...steel prices have skyrocketed and SBI is going to be announcing a large price increase across the board in January...don't ask me how I know, I can't say...just know that its coming. And no, I don't work for them...

Hard to beat FB marketplace or CL if you do your due diligence. I picked up another 6039 multifuel stove with venting and 20 bags of pellets for 600 bucks. Had to refurb it as people tend to be schlock when it comes to taking care of stoves and such but some elbow grease and new gaskets and some HT paint and I had a nice second unit for in the shop.

Not bad considering a new one is north of 2 grand with no venting.... If you can even get one.

Across the board with any industry that uses steel. I do and I've taken a 35% hit on steel this year.

Hate to say it, but with inflation, what you buy today will be cheaper than what you buy tomorrow...

I wonder how much pellet prices will increase next fall. I think the 200 buck a ton average is gone. I'm figuring 250 a tone next fall average.

So long as my free corn keeps 'flowing', I'm good. All it costs me is a carton of Marlboro Reds, which are 70 bucks now.
