After a crazy 12+ months of work, life, foot surgery, etc. I finally got in some quality firewood time today. I split and stacked all the uncovered wood in the picture, mostly black cherry and a little beech. It was a good feeling. Perfect weather, too.
Stacks look good, and I’m sure you’re thrilled to be back at it again. As someone who also has plenty of metal inside him, keep moving forward and you’ll manage just fine
Well the X ray proves the only screw you have loose is your wood hoarding problem! All kidding aside, nice work Mike! I cant imagine being down and out for that long, but im sure youre going to make up for it.
Wow. After an injury like that, processing all that wood was quite a “feet”. (Feat) Sorry, that juicy fat one was just hanging there and no one else went for it. I couldn’t resist.
Nice looking stacks and glad you are back up and running. I know how you feel after getting " screwed " . I took out my ankle a few years back and 2 plates and 13 screws later to put it back together but now no issues. Hopefully with all that True Value hardware it is stronger than the stock one. Recovery can be slow but it does happen. Glad you are feeling better and able to get back at the piles.
Glad you're back up & running mike bayerl ! Nice looking bit of work there. No real man is complete without his own personal hardware section.
