A guy I know from another forum (a true cowboy) swears by these
Bear Knuckles Gloves I have personally never tried them, but a couple of other guys have and say they are the best they have used in years.

I keep getting a pop up ad on FB for Vermont gloves. They show a pair of gloves after 300 days of use. I messaged them to send me a pair for a field test.  I told them they wouldn't last 30 days handling firewood. They said buy a pair and try them out. :picard::rofl:

I bought a 3 pack at Costco....Very comfortable, but the leather seems to tear fairly easy!!

Thank's for posting the Bear Knuckles Gloves i like what they say about how their made, and looks like they have a good idea as to what people want and need.
They don't say it but it looks like they are made in the USA anyone you talked with know?

After about 2 weeks I got a message back from this glove Co yesterday. Said they were thinking about making a firewood glove with Kevlar in it. They would let me know about field testing a pair.

Thank's for the reply i sure like them Espresso Bison Driver gloves, not for messing with fire wood not at their $60 pricing.
But their Cowhide driving ones at $25 might be cool, but my Harbor Fright ones at around $4 on sale are my go to chain sawing gloves now.

The Atlas Therma Fit have been my go to gloves for many years. They do wear out after a while but I get a decent amount of use out of them before they do. [IMG]

I like the Atlas 300 and the Thermafit but one I really like this time of year are the atlas 406. Fleece lined like the thermafit but with a waterproof coating. I mostly use them when it’s wet outside. Same durability as the other atlas gloves.

if you’re working all day in them they will get wet with sweat so I rotate between a couple pair.

when I need maximum dexterity at work climbing trees I like the maxi flex cut resistant gloves. They hold up well and have stopped my handsaw from giving me small cuts. They will do absolutely nothing against a chainsaw though.

Ive long abandoned pricey gloves for work. Being a roofer by trade, nothing expensive held up well to wear so i found latex coated stretch gloves the best for general purpose firewooding. Insulated ones for the cold weather. Tried leather...too stiff and not enough dexterity plus a major PITA to take off if sweaty. Canvas and suede too stiff as well.

I buy them by the ten pack and seems to last a couple months. Buck a pair. Big box store carries them. You'll see them in a lot of my post pics.
