I lost a diamond earring stud given to me on my 5oth last year. Putting it on for the first time I was trying to put the back on, fat fingers.....I heard it make a tink sound on the laminate floor never to be seen again. They are on sale again, I'd like to replace them and wear them for my Dad's wife, she gave them to me from her and my late father. https://www.macys.com/shop/product/...r-sterling-silver?ID=2791842&CategoryID=10835 But I'd prefer these because the more secure back. Suppose she could tell the difference?https://www.macys.com/shop/product/...CategoryID=65993&sizes=JEWELRY_TYPE!!Earrings
How close is she going to get to you? When was the last time she saw them? They look pretty close. Too bad you just can't get a new back for the pair she gave you.
It was the actual earring I dropped and lost I could see the hurt in her eyes the next two times we saw her and I was not wearing them when she asked me. And, I did get new backs, the barrel kind with rubber inside to hold them on better, and that is exactly when I dropped it last year, putting the better back on that one
, pretty obvious in the pictures! Thank you Dave! For earrings this expensive I'd prefer the threaded backs anyway!! (thus how I lost the first one in the first place, trying to put a more secure back on it.)
WTH is going on with the forums list page? It is now showing only one birthday today, a bit ago it was showing a couple dozen...
I didn’t do much in the way of taking care of the garden either… I sleep in the truck it’s got a good size bed in back. Coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge and a bad all in the truck. It’s a lot of road time indeed but I usually pull it off in 4 days.
Maybe that is why sometimes I put up birthday posts and then later that same day someone else will post for the Birthday of a name that I am SURE that I would have recognized and included, but somehow didn't.
Texas, huh? OK, I didn't know where his runs were. Yeah, I agree.....definitely south from Michigan!!
I couldn't drive a small fraction of those mile, say nothing about being able to drive a truck. I seldom drive further than 30-40 miles at any one time. I always give trucks plenty of room and give them them priority with the road. Some of them give me a blink of their rear lights when they know I am trying to help.
