Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Headed to the woodyard in a bit. About 34° now outside. Reloaded the stove at 6:30 this morning. 1 round log and 4 short chunks. Cruising at 77° inside now... 1116210737.jpg
Time to make the chips fly. Need to get 2 more loads done today.
Be encouraging, lend a hand, share a smile. Let your light shine for JESUS...

Last year and this year, I mowed/mulched all my leaves in. Each time I ran the mower over the leaves 2 or 3 times, and they're pretty much gone. I didnt wait till it was a thick wet layer but went out there a couple times as the leaves fell. It was a few extra minutes on the tractor, but where I could mow, I did not rake. Saved a buncha time, and there are no piles of leaves to be picked up or bagged (I refuse to do that).
What I couldnt mow, got raked into the garden.

Morning All. Well our trip went well yesterday. Really windy in the town we were in and there was falling snow coming back but it wasn't sticking. Watch the news last night and the lower half of Vancouver Island was flooded out with roads closed, people evacuated and power out. Lower part of the province got hit as well with whole towns under water and mudslides. We were very blessed with good traveling weather.

Going to work for the next three days. I hope it isn't too busy there.

    Everyone have a great day.

We mulch ours mostly. When we had chickens, I would bag some leaves and grass clippings, let the hens do the composting...

Go to the hospital and see if you can get the antibody infusion? Don't wait until you get too bad to qualify for it.
