Good morning, everyone.

Cold day to start. 33⁰ and a bit breezy.

We had a squall line come through yesterday late afternoon. Cell phones lit up with a tornado alert. There was power outages in the region. Nothing like that here.

I slept for just under 8hrs last night. It's been a while since I slept for that long. It felt good.

Wow Mike! That is a big step for sure. I hope their adjustment isn't hard for them. Expect some complaining. Your new role will be monitoring the quality of care they receive.
Will you empty and sell their house? Another huge task. You are a good son.

 

Good morning everyone! Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, got busy early. Lots of running around, but I did get all the houseplants into the basement. That was my last important winter prep job. We are good to go now.
Today I've got my grandson! Mayhem ensues.

I think mom is already fully adjusted. The food is good, so it won't take dad long at all.

There's still a list of things to deal with. IE: mail, bills, house security.... etc. The plan is to liquidate the house. It's in a trust. My brother and I are trustees.

Good morning! 33F and cloudy. We had the wintry mix much of yesterday. Our Pastor Appreciation service is today followed by lunch. Bought new wiper blades to put on the truck. I'll split some maple in the barn later today for smoking wood. And still need to fix my hitch. Have a God day!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 36° and breezy in Knoxville this morning. Ga BULLDOGS won last night 41-17 over TN. They won every conference game this year, first time since 1982. 10-0 record. Got 2 more regular season games to go.

The DAWGS had one of their defensive linemen come up lame, right at the end of the game. I haven't heard the prognosis. I'm guessing they'll sit him until the post-season, and hope he's well enough to play.

 

We saw several go down for a bit on both sides. We left about 2 minutes before the game ended. Hope he will be ok. #95 went down twice...

I'm recovering from the plague, trying to keep Dear wife from getting it, and hearing the ongoing saga as it unfolds at work.

Will run the tractor over the lawn to give it a haircut later, might drain the gas from the weed wacker, other light outdoor chores. It'll be nice to get outta 'sick clothes' for a couple hours. Can't see why people want to wear bed clothes all day = sick clothes.

Greatful for the wood stove, its nice to walk in there for a warm up when I get a chill.

Brought a couple loads of wood in, loosened up sore muscles.

God is good!!

Morning all. We had a storm go through last night. Wind and rain. Woke up to a calm but still overcast day. It will probably rain off and on all day. Not sure what I am up to today. I might go and visit Mom and bring her back here. She has a dental appointment down island tomorrow.
