    First time out since spring. Ran the Husky and little Echo. Only about 1/2 load but enjoyed my stretch. Cherry and sugar maple. Was done and then spotted an ironwood blow over. Had to add that.

    It's good to start light and work up from there, after not wooding for months.

    It was a beautiful day, almost too warm, glad I was out early as it crept up close to 70 today.

    I had a great day also; I was able to split some of the wood that I cut from that large Maple last week. It was easier to split when the rounds had a chance to dry some.
