Got about 1/2 a cord bucked & ready to split & load. I'll buck the rest tomorrow while a helper splits & loads. Load is sold & heading straight to the customer.
It's supposed to be good weather. It sure beats working in the shop. Thanks Brad I've got a good bit of that wood around. It sells well.
We split & loaded the trailer in 1.5 hrs. Not bad. Roger is 6'7" & Greg is 6'4" so we elevated our splitting game. Stacked & packed 1.5 cord ready to go. Split the long pieces & refilled the bit of room I had in the boiler shed. Off to deliver now.
yup my lil brother is all of 6’7” .. sure makes me feel like a runt!! a 461 with a 25” bar is his small saw great job AC
Nice in just 1.5 hours... Took us a few more minutes to fill my 16 foot trailer today... It was good day here too...
Thank you, it's been through a few revisions for sure. He was, I sell him 5-6 cord a year of premium firewood & he appreciates that. I always make sure that I hold back some really good stuff for him. Yeah it's pretty nice. I wish I could do it all this way. Goes quick just loading & delivering. Cuts out a step or two. Keep in mind that was just splitting & loading, I had 2/3 of it bucked & ready. Those two don't screw around either, they're workers for sure. We started at 9:00 & were eating breakfast at 10:45. I have a stop in that splitter that hits at 19" so no wasted time on the cycle either. The buyer has a good sized stove & likes bigger splits too, that saves time as well.
I hear ya lol. It's fun working with these guys though. There's a third brother that's about 6'5" & a lifter. You get the three of them together & they're like a conveyor chain of gorillas, with all three in a line they can cover close to 25' & never move they're feet. I look like a circus midget working with them.
