That’s a great deal if you ask me. I wonder how much money they actually made on that deal? Between fuel and time spent, it can’t be much?

That's a whole 3-year plan for me right there. And quite a bit more work coming, I'm sure.

I wonder what that would look like in my driveway. Hmmm... I guess you wouldn't be able to see the driveway. :bug:

I wondered how much they make on a load as well,. They nice thing for them is they live less then a mile from my house so he just loaded the truck up before he headed home.

I burn about 10 cord a year, so that load is just a little over a Winters worth for me.
The last time I got a load of logs, I had them drop it right to the side of the driveway in the lawn... Miss redneck did not find that funny.

it was on my mind at work today... Does that count?

That is a huge plus, also I am use to cutting a fair ways in the woods then trying to figure out how to get it to the truck, were I had him unload is right next to were i am putting the pallets to stack them on, so it will be less then 20ft of walking from were I cut and split it to stack it.

They are really nice, he lives less then a mile from me, so it was right on his way home as well.

With the cost of lumber I don't blame ya haha.

We just re did a bedroom in our house. And I went and got baseboards from Menards after i installed the flooring, 13 bucks for a 8ft stick and it's the fake wood!

That's the first thing that went through my mind when I saw that load.
I don't know what I would do if I ever got a load like that. Guess I could always quit both jobs to make time for it. Hmmmmmm....maybe I'm on to something.
