Yeah. But you said 50 cc. At 56 cc. You round up to 60 cc. You don't call a MS 362 or a 562xp a 50 cc saw (both 59 cc). You round up..
The 034/034S/036/360/361/362/362C-M are all considered a 60 cc saw. Even though the 034 is slightly less than its bigger brother, it still runs just as good. That is a very nice time for that saw in a round that large.
I should of said 55cc saw. Do we call 45cc saws 50cc class or 40cc class? Just curious, I call them 40cc saws. Irrelevant to this saw or sale I know, learning here.
I think it's popular to round to the nearest 10 cc's because it's easy to do so and results in a fairly small number of categories, but it's too coarse a division, especially at the lower end of the scale. In percentage terms the jump from 40 to 45 cc's is almost as large as the jump from 70 to 80 cc's. Maybe we should categorize saws by powerhead weight instead of displacement...
That's a more than fair price for a great saw. I ran one back to back with a ms 390. The 034 pulled harder, ran smoother and used less mix for a days cutting. Not to mention they handle like a smaller saw. Good luck with the sale MasterMech. Somebody should be very happy to own that saw. IMHO those were among Stihl's very best.
