Yep, that's been posted, but still cool. Heck, if that was me, it would hit the house, bounce off and kill the shed. That would be after it kicked off the stump sideways taking out the power pole.
Very cool. Especially like the credits: "god of the laws of physics". Looks like there were only a few inches clearance either side.
That reminds me Terry... you must be about ready to run the video cam while you take that branch down hanging over your place...
So glad you reminded me! Just stepped outside and its still there That dead Elm on the left will be dealt with this fall
My buddy Spencer dropped a tree in a spot about that tight years ago. Was a pine tree 90-100ft tall and leaning well over his camp at the lake. Bad enough that we were there one night when it was windy and decided to sleep out in the cars just in case it came down! No one thought it could be dropped without crushing the camp... enough to the point that word spread he was dropping it and there was a crowd of people to watch. He dropped it off to the side of the camp and between the camp and the garage. Not even a single branch touched either building. I still haven't figured out how he did it! Me... yeah... not so much. Couple years ago a birch had broke and was leaning toward my shed. I decided to cut it before it fell in a windstorm. Yeah... dropped it right on the shed and ripped the gutter off. With my neighbor watching
I might get a quote save? but then again i aint the smartest dude around so like stinny said the video camera will be rolling if i take the 170 up it one of these days
Is there a decent way to whittle it off a little at a time with ropes letting the first sections down? Used to love doing stuff like that when I was younger... now... slow, fat & numb... not so much...
Pretty friggen high man! but i know i will eventually get back up there and deal with it. And if loon go's off the air on TFHC this fall ya know it didnt go well
