I heard a Bread song recently. Instantly took me back to my childhood desk with 8 track built in and a Bread album. Wonderful memories and I've been listening to them again recently.

....listening to right now.....the sound of a locomotive finally running smoothly. Its a pretty deep bass rumble, not sure how many octaves below middle C. So if the biggest pipe organ pipe is some 32 feet tall, this might rival that sound?

Interesting harmonics in GP-38's and SD-40's....i tried tuning a guitar while stopped, there were enough noises, hums, changing pitches coming from the main generator and turbo, tuning the guitar was impossible.

They make their own music I guess.

Same here. I priced tix for the local show and was sadly deflated when I saw prices. Sucks.

I have Fatal Portrait on cassette sitting next to me somewhere in my cassette stash. I was three days removed from being 14 years old when it came out in Feb of '86 (at least according to Wikipedia). :)

A little tidbit......the young lady seen in the video singing background vocals is the King's wife. Looks to be about half his age. Good for him!

    damm that’s crazy money.

This is a drone photo from the last time I saw them, they were headlining the 2018 Northern Invasion Festival.

Top 3 best shows I’ve seen (and I’m not a big ‘festival’ kind of guy). I think it was like $100 for the whole weekend.

    For you metal heads.

I can still remember how shocked (if that’s the right word) I was when I found out Metallica was just covering these DH songs and didn’t write them..

I like this version of it better. :) I think Metallica had lots of influence on them for this version of it.

Not a bad song on this entire album. Posted this one for the chainsaw reference :saw: and it's literally time to start our fires, lolol.

LOVE Metal Church! The Dark was one album I listened to OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. In fact the cassette tape of it was in the boombox we had in our bathroom in college. That tape was played over and over whenever anybody showered. That is how we knew someone was in the shower, as the shower was upstairs. LOL
