brenndatomu looks awesome man, well built, and what an outstanding job sourcing 2nd hand materials. What a great space your going to have for the wood shed.

O and I hear you on things filling up quickly with stuff, kids toys, bikes, etc... My kids already tried putting stuff in my pole barn, I told them that's why I built this so they could have the old shed.....:hair:

Who let the dogs out, ROOF ROOF ROOF ROOF!
And a lil removable "free pallet" wall action too!
Scrounged a bunch of 66"x90" pallets that worked out pretty well, for the side wall at least...

That looks good Dave! I was gonna build similar off my carport till I got those steel shipping crates. I may still build something on the other side. Nice work!

That’s the metal you were offering for 2 bucks a sheet? I might have to take a ride to Ohio.

No, that stuff is not as nice as this...and it's 2' x 10' wide instead of 3' x 12' like this is...I think this was the roof and the others was the siding of the old barn. When I went to get the others I had fully intended it for this roof though...would have probably rolled a coat of roof silver paint on it, not that look's would matter since this faces the back of the property, and there is nobody behind us that can see anything anyways...I would have painted it mainly for longevity. It would be plenty good enough for woodsheds and woodpile covers though...come on over! ;) :handshake:
To me the 2' wide pieces are better for woodpile cover since (2) side x side make 48" and that's a pretty common woodpile width...the 3' wide stuff either has to be overlapped, (a waste of a hard to find resource) or it only covers the center 3/4 of the pile...

    Thanks guys! :handshake:
It's been kind of a fun little build for me...I'm actually working on doing one for my sister too...her's will be longer but narrower though...down the side of their 24' long barn, and 7' wide...should hold almost 7 cords...we'll see if the weather (and my nephews) cooperate enough to get it done this year yet...

    It's sarcasm based humor.
    Some people don't get it.
    That's fine by me.

I should have used my [/sarc] tag. My bad.
