    Definitely
    :BrianK:

Agreed, the thumb attachment and skid plate were the first things I purchased for the tractor.

    A few fun photos:

My L3901 cleaning up the evil black walnut trees, and another on it's way to a side job. Always busy. Averaging over 125 hours per year saving my back!

Also, my buddies brand new skid with the brush cat in action. What a machine!

Now the darn pickup on the otherhand - has been in the dealers shop basically all summer... has a weird torque converter lockup electrical issue that they can't seem to figure out. Good grief. Atleast I'm saving on gas not driving the V10 around and running my beater civic.

Warner, I have the Kubota BH77 attachment on my L3901 but have not yet invested in the thumb. Can you describe, in detail, what you use it for that makes it so valuable?

I don't doubt your opinion, but I guess since I have quick attach forks that I've never felt a need for one. I have used one on a mini ex and it was the cats meow, but being that the tractor requires the stabilizers to be down to really take a load, I've not understood how economical it would be.

I guess, other that picking up logs to buck them up and save chainsaw blades from hitting the dirt, what else do you find it useful for?

Also, what brand is yours? A factory kubota or a BXpanded unit?

    Thanks!

My definition of a box blade......something you drive in circles until you think just one more pass. Then you make one more pass only to ____ up and spend another hour driving in circles.

That's a good day. I see you have the MTL grapple too. That's the brand we got.

It’s alright. Built well enough. Just doesn’t open wide enough for what I wanted

Ours opens wide, 41" I think, just wish it had teeth on the top to grab better.
Couldn't beat the price on it though...we got grapple and forks cheaper than just a grapple from EA Attachments...
