    Good morning, folks.

Upper 30's to start. Supposed to be a sunny, cool day.
I had my first fire that had coals survive overnight.

    Rains return tomorrow. Overnight tonight.

I need to rollout my garden hoses to let them drain, before they ice up.

I also need to get over to my power shop and pick up some chains I left for sharpening. A friend of mine's daughter had a red oak taken down. We're hoping to get over there Sunday to cut and load some to bring back here.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Red oak will keep you occupied, splitting on nice winter days.

Good morning everyone! I've got to pack today. Also deal with some wood in the driveway, 4 big birch rounds and a little pile of apple. Oh, and 3 lengths of pin oak about 6" in diameter. Dump pickings have been good lately.
    My red maples yesterday: IMG_20211028_36827.jpg
    Same trees on Oct. 15 2020: IMG_20211028_45402.jpg
Evidence that this year's color is two weeks behind last year's.
    Have a great day!

Ouch. Eggs for breakfast are okay but not goose eggs. Hope your day brightens.

I play drums for the praise team and sing if we use soundtracks. It's live music about 95% of the time.

Gorgeous trees. The lawn must look quite pretty when they all fall off. Quite the red colour. Maples in this area turn orangey yellow not red.

Morning All. Too dark out there to see what the weather is going to be like. Busy day again working on chores. campinspecter has an ear infection so no hearing aid that ear for 10 days. A lot of yelling going on around here.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning . Dreary day again.
Woodwidow, hope his ear infection heals quickly.
The majority of the trees have dropped their leaves already.
    Have a great day all.

Good afternoon, y'all. Hope y'all are having a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I had to start my 7AM-7PM shift for this weekend, so not much happening around the woodyard...:(:(...
My head is just a little sore today...
Yesterday afternoon got better, Miz Carol and I rode back on our place to check stands for wasps nest about 3:15 with a lite rain going on...saw 5 deer in 2 different plots. Stands were ok, trimmed a few branches back, went back home, changed into our hunting clothes and went back to a big tower stand. We did see 5 more deer this time too. A tall spike and a nice doe, wide young 4 pointer and a small doe and yearling that were about 15-20 yrds from us...this was taken with just my phone 1028211809.jpg
I learned a trick for using my binoculars and phone for zooming in...
same deer, same place, when they were standing together... 1028211808~2.jpg
Then the fog rolled in, couldn't see to the end of the plots... 1028211844_HDR.jpg

No deer were harmed on this episode...:thumbs::rofl: ...
And I did build my hunny a small fire last night...:fire::yes: 1028212034.jpg
    Have a BLESSED weekend.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good afternoon! Another gray and dreary day in the Hoosier state. Light rain off and on. Need to work on a faulty hitch receiver tonight so I can drag the skid steer around this weekend. I also need to build some more wood racks back in the processing center of it isn't too wet. This is a pic of the current state of the drum kit at church while we wait for missing parts for the new booth. Have a God day![IMG]

Well, the sun came out and we had a gorgeous day. Overnight temps are going to be down almost to freezing. We are to have this sunshine for two more days. It will be great.
