Due to lack of barns and more need for storage the old MT had to spend the summer outdoors, unused.
Did some shuffling getting ready for winter and went to put it back in the barn. Left wheel is frozen solid. Well actually it will roll a few inches at most. Slack in the driveline, brake system.
Guessing the disc/clutch style brake must have rusted fairly solid on that side.
    No you tube videos :)
Tractor spins in circles fine. I even tried ramming the tire with the yard truck a few times hoping it would break loose. No luck.
I think I’ve got a problem. Anyone have the old solution besides tearing the entire back half of the tractor apart?

It certainly does. Use it for carbon fouling in the rifle barrels.
I always said if you leave the cap off a can of Kroil it will creep up the stairs and crawl in bed with you :)
Problem is getting to these brakes requires a rather major tear down.

Thinking of giving the end of the axle shaft a few good whacks with a 12 pounder.
Maybe drag it on pavement. It’s a rather long furrow across my lawn and down my driveway to find pavement tho.
May try tapping on the brake control linkages tomorrow. Doesn’t hurt to try.

Sometimes the hammer knows best. I wonder if an acetylene torch in the right spot could be just the kind of love it needs? Heat it up and see if you can work it loose a little at a time?
