Neat inexpensive .22 rossi I have the Mossberg Brazil made version. Very good shooter for a budget rifle Picked up more .22 ammo
Actually most hunting and plinking ammo I checked was available At Bridgeport equipment. Just way overpriced. Walmart only added 3.00 to the federal I bought since last year They used to be 17.00 now 20.00. But Bridgeport wants around 40.00 for the same amount of .22s I only bought 3 boxes of 9mm 124gr sig hollow points For my new 9mm pistols 1.00 per round. I haven't bought any other center-fire in several year's I have plenty from my idpa days. No need to horde. But .22s I get as often as possible My friends plate rack eats it up And my nieces nephews great niece's and great nephew's Eat up a lot of .22s also. I just as soon shoot .22 anymore As center-fire These new generation guns are fun reliable and accurate.
True that! Now for anyone who's been a true gun affiliate/collector or any term that would suit them and they've been in the game if it were should know the nuances of this. The whole basis of the market, the demand and panic that began over almost 2 years ago snowballed. Ammo will fluctuate, that is a given since I watched ammo prices were similar to now in 2016. Thing of it is since nothing is "cheap" anymore, We should get rid of the stigma that plagues ammo companies and know that mistakes and whatnot get overlooked but doesn't mean they can't be fixed. We're in 2021 and these companies are still plugging at new kinds of ideas and efficiencies. I'm glad ammo isn't sold at the dollar store, the cheap part of that would be wild and unforgiving. But do I see trends of this kind of thing for the next few years? Probably. But the perspective of Americans is whats mostly driving the dynamic here.
Ok that's sexy. I like that. I'm a liker of how my 1911 is. But getting it to look like it's been used enough to where the parkerized finish is gone would take a long time maybe getting it blued is gonna work in favor down the road.
Well it happened again. Went browsing around several local firearms dealers looking to see if anything popped out at me... It popped! CANIK TP9 ELITE COMBAT EXECUTIVE WITH VORTEX VIPER RED DOT Comes with a mag extension, holster, cleaning tools, mag loader and a few other bells and whistles. I'm heading the range later today.
I have a TP9SF and it's a really good pistol, I like the ergonomics, very accurate (more accurate than me) and a really good trigger for a striker fired. All that said.. I've only a couple striker fired and don't really like them so I'm in the long mental process of deciding whether or not to trade it in. I know it will just collect dust if I get something else but the other part of me hates getting rid of any gun unless I just plain cannot stand it. Right now I'm weighing CZ 75 SP-01 and the Beretta 92X with CZ leading. That of course is fluid and apt to change before all is said and done.
Yeah I want a Canik as well based on what I hear how accurate they are. Probably would stick to a 9mm but a 10mm isn't in my armory.
It should be. Those 10mm are a great round. I bought one in a Ruger pistol when they first came out and that was when I first turned old enough to buy a pistol. The. 40s&w overtook the 10mm in government use and the 10mm ammo was difficult at best to find. I sold that 10mm in college, figuring that chambering was like the Beta in the Betamax vs VHS story. Yeah it's better, but if everyone has adopted the other option, you are better off caving in. Well, 15+ years later, the 10mm is getting some love. Well deserved as well.
Well after much deliberation... Beretta 92X RDO won. I was fortunate to be able to actually put one in my hands before before I purchased and the trigger feel, short reset, and Vertex grip fit in my hand won me over. I tried to get my LGS to get me one but they could not find one. Went on gun.deals.com and went down the list of in stock places put in my email at Gunprime and they sent me a quote of $595 which is pretty much stealing it these days. The majority are selling for full retail and more ($699-$750++). With shipping and transfer fee It was still a killer bargain. Beretta sent an email for a "free" optics plate so I asked for the Docter style footprint which will fit a good variety of popular red dots. Now I'm shopping for one of those and a holster. I think I'm done with expensive and fancy and just going to get a surplus Bianchi M12 with a drop leg for my pistol belt. As far as red dots, I keep comparing things and somehow keep ending back at the Vortex Venom but it will be a while to let my checkbook recover a little. Poor little TLR7 looks lost out there on all that real estate.
Very nice I always liked the Berettas Especially the frame mounted safety Brigadier? I think it was to find one. I wish I'd kept the 92 and 96 I had The vektor .40 Beretta clone was excellent also.
I'm trying to find 2 pistols now SW just released this 10mm this week I want the 4" version 15+1 I don't like suppressor height sights But I can swap them out. Still looking for a SA35 They'll be hard to find for awhile.
