    Just fine. Because we have a ring inside that keeps the wood directly off of the brick. There's about a 2.5 inch gap all around between the brick and the ring. The brick isn't secured either it's just stacked

    We had a fire going today for Trunk-or-Treat. Used a load of hickory to cook hot dogs on.

    Side note:

    Wife bought jalapeños today and I was kicking myself for forgetting to take the peppers you brought to walt's. Thanks for bringing them!

    Julie just picked 20 more pounds of peppers (Mostly jalapenos). Gotta get them cooked and froze. I shoulda stuffed/wrapped/cooked them on the campfire too today.
