$22k is much better than a new Tiguan for sure. Vehicles are getting crazy in price now and even used is expensive.
The way the market is right now if you can even find anything you’re going pay sticker. Bought a new Blazer a year ago and had looked for about 8 months to find what the wife wanted (almost, she had to settle on the color she got). Yes we were picky on it and we could find the lower model ones but if I’m spending $50k it had better be exactly what I wanted. Now they are obsolete. I was offered $6k more than I paid for it a couple months ago.
Sheesh, still fairly dark at 6:30AM Sunrise is 7:04 today. Still warm enough to leave windows open overnight.
Geeze Al I remember when people would not buy certain vehicles because they had to burn that expensive gas. Why it was either 2 or 3 cents more for each gallon. That's like eating steak when hamburger or baloney would do just as well. And then when it suddenly went up to around .30 a gallon for gas it was ridiculous.
Heard the other day that Gas Buddy reported the most expensive spot in the country to buy gas was a town in Cali, $7.50 regular, $8.50 premium!
Can the average guy afford an EV ? (Vehicle, not bicycle) Besides, 60% of electricity generation is still from fossil fuels. If the price of those fuels go up, so does the price of electricity. I hope this Winter is as mild as last Winter - with lots of snow for ski areas.
That difference between being on the eastern side of the time zone and the western side I'd notice when I travelled to Florida on a work contract from here in eastern Ma. . Especially Panama City, Fl.
I started to wonder if what I heard on the radio was true...looks like it is. Gas hits $7.59 a gallon in CA town
This was one of yesterday’s projects. Remove older door. Install newer door. Older door to be installed in barn water room. This was been completed with molding inside and out. And a coded keypad handle. Forgot the finished pictures.
We usually get our gas at Costco which sells 93 for the same price as 87 around here. That is one saving grace.
Many cities and work places here have free charging stations.. buddy bought a Prius as VT & Feds gave him so many rebates. Only charges at work for free and as he says better parking spot than CEO
We have one at eack library in town. The one at the main library was driven into two years ago and still hasn't been fixed. The one at the new library has a one or two hour limit (I'd have to read the sign again) and can only be used during library open hours. Which during the pandemic has been not at all. The one at Town Hall that is supposed to be for visitors is always used by the same town employee. The powers that be claim it isn't used by employee(s) and yet the same car is parked there every day 9 to 5. They're 120 units even when plugged in 9-5 only yield so many miles of battery life. Doesn't change the affordability for the average Joe though..
