Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 55° this morning, 13° warmer than yesterday, shorts weather again. We got the pickup load of hickory delivered yesterday, then had the truck radiator checked, I had seen a small puddle of liquid at the bottom of the shroud. It had started to leak, found a double coil in stock, so we upgraded. Only had a single coil before.
We worked on the trailer load more in the evening. Got 1 1/2 rows to go, should be able to deliver after lunch today.
Remember the GOLDEN RULE.

Got our first fire going this morning. Woke up to 51 outside and 69 inside. Outside temps are dropping, now down to 49. Burning a little bit of poplar and the house is warming nicely.

 

How much kielbasa did you use? Been looking for an idea like that.

Morning all. No walk this morning as campinspecter is heading out with Shadow for her dental cleaning appt. I am waiting for Mom to arrive on the ferry so I can take her down island for a dental appt. as well. She is having a wisdom tooth removed that never came through her gum. I am hoping the ferry is running as we have a fall storm going on outside and of course the ferry website is unavailable so I can't check on conditions and whereabouts of the ferry. This could be a long day.

mat60 I know that this isn't the best day to be celebrating your birthday but just so you know we care, we will be thinking of you today.

Midwinter you are ambitious to try something new. I love chutney and campinspecter doesn't so I only buy it occasionally. I did make a batch of plum chutney once that went over well.

Erik B your stove looks great. I love wood heat but as our wood system uses hot water registers, you don't get the ambience of a fire.

All's good here, aside from an itchy eye.

 

It was a pound and a half. I made a sauce out of coconut milk and green curry paste, and had the meatballs with the sauce, rice, and chopped cilantro. My husband won't eat this, he is picky.

 

Must be a glut of replacement air bags around. Got a mail notice to finally take mine in for a new passenger bag as well. Mine is monday a.m. also.......

Just getting around to reading posts. Much cooler today. Rain came in early but didn't last long. Stopped at an old mill then on to Clifton Creek Nature Preserve. Got home for a quick nap and then cleaned out gutters for in-laws. Have a God day!

Thank you for the kind words.. Its late.. Just got done for the day cleaned up and having a bite. Will be up early like normal and have plenty to do around here and looking forward to work very soon. The shop was a mess because of time I had and Im getting there to having it ready for work.. I having been sitting around and it helps.. Thanks for the Birthday wish. Fall temps return tomorrow. I've had a fire built, waiting to be lit for a few days. I suspect it'll be fired off tomorrow morning.

I'm starting to plan for an annual fall cabin camping trip up in the White mtns of NH. That'll be in 2 weeks. Something my friends and I always look forward to.
