Reminds me of my first saw , a Poulan Micro 25 deluxe.

I still remember it like it was yesterday !
Rode my bicycle about 5 miles to the next town and bought it on my own as a young teenager , rode home with the saw in the case balanced on the bar of the bike and a 6 pack of oil in paper cans hanging on the handle bars.
Good times and the start of this whole wood thing. Some things will never change.

I think the poulan in my post is 35-40 years old. It belonged to an uncle that didn't use it very much. I used it some for him 30+ years ago. With new fuel line, fuel filter, airfilter, carb kit and oil line, it is now back in running shape.

I had an 1800 Woodsman that was very similar. I heated our house with it for a few years and then bought a Stihl 041 from my brother. Both of those were hand numbing tooth rattlers. Brings back memories, but I can't really say I miss them... It was a great little saw for clearing grapevines and junk brush out of the woods. I could carry it around all day and one hand stuff in the thickets. Not the safest practice, but...

It will definitely numb your hands, but I don't plan to use it very long at a time.

I can say that at my age 40 plus ( shhh I don't want to date myself ) years is certainly possible.
I know my first was ; well just say 40 years. Yeah that's a good number ! That makes me me feel a few years younger anyway.

I’m rocking an 18in Tsumura Light bar with the OEM Husqvarna chain, 72 drive links. I like the chain, but I have a loop of Stihl yellow stuff when it’s time for a replacement. Not a noticeable difference in weight with the replacement bar, I just like Tsumura bars.

    Dolmar PS 9000 with a 25”
First time out in a non cookie cut mode since the build.
Some kind of maple, pretty dense, heavy and hard.
Hardly lost an rpm with the bar buried in noodle mode.
    Very cool saw!

I have run a couple of 9010s at gtgs and they are definitely a strong running saw.
