October 15 and I get out of school with a few deliveries lined up. End up drenched in sweat after loading a 1 cord load. I have 9 cords going out tomorrow and it’s going to be just as warm. Not looking forward to it. Just as the title says, this is BS!
That weather sucks, but keep on keeping on. It was in the 80s and humid here (central WI) last weekend. 60's and no humidity this weekend, finally feels like fall. I hope this weather heads your way.
I agree. Got rather sweaty on the roof today. Didnt have enough water and had to "ration". I get home and Ms. buZZsaw says i got sun on my face and neck. Im ready for cool weather. Enough already of sweating.

These warm temps do suck! Screwing up scrounging and archery hunting. Only upside is saving me some firewood. But we all know the wood piper always gets paid!!
It was a little better here today, upper 60's, till it started raining while I was loading dump trailer. Tomorrow's supposed to be 50's, but it'll be damp/dank.
Fellers, many feel your desire to buy swag and directly support FHC. Having seen Scotty Overkill at this past weekend’s GTG at walt ’s, we touched on this briefly. Suffice to say, patience will have to be what we apply to, for now. Not that the subject isn’t on his mind, but life and busyness of life are heavily weighing on this wonderful brother of ours. I was out east with the warm but glad to be back home. I'm hoping that real warm is done until spring but still see a couple 70 degree days next week.
Rain moved in overnight and it dropped 20* too...cloudy cool October day now...looks to be a good bit cooler this next week...I suppose it it time...the last few years this weekend was the first fire in the furnace...not gonna happen this year though...we did however already have one small fire in the fireplace stove a few weeks back...
Was in the upper 60's overnight last night, but were getting some rain showers now. Temps dropping through the day today and overnight. Highs in the upper 40's tomorrow. Finally!some fall weather!
