Caught a walleye from the dock this evening. Too small....back it went. Also missed a large one.....thinking it was also a walleye as it reeled in like one; not like a northern. But it was heavy! But.....someone didn't set the hook good enough!
The guy I will hire takes out the top few inches with a tracked skid steer and then spreads the gravel down.
You feel really good when it is done. Nice and neat. As for those plants, if they help you feel better, all the power to you. Lots better than some addictive drugs from big pharma. I've yet to try some CBD, but I am getting really close to doing it. I have so many veteran friends that use it and swear by it. Better than being zoned out by prescription drugs. Better than hurting all the time. My only warning is not to use or do anything illegal.
Think about putting down a fabric ground cover after the top soil is removed. It will give you years of stability to the gravel floor. Very small cost with a huge return. I am so glad for you having that new location. Must be like having a vacation home year around. Enjoy the fishing.
Weekend off coming up! Looks like rain. Oh well. Still a weekend off. I have plenty of inside work and chores to do getting everything organized and put in the right places to prepare for the colder season. It has been very warm here for the middle of October!
