    Good morning everyone! Can't complain about the weather! Yesterday I emptied the dirt out of 2 tomato barrels, sieved it, and put it in feed bags for next year. The rabbit poop has all decomposed, and it is beautiful stuff. When the leaves fall (mostly maple in my yard), I'll chop them up with the lawnmower, and mix them with fresh rabbit poop. I have this big white polyprop bulk bag I got from my brother, looks like this: 1-0-ton-bulk-big-bag-for-cement-250x250.jpg
    Maybe I'll punch some holes in it for aeration.

    Good morning! 61* and cloudy, cooler today. Got a lot done in the woodyard yesterday until rail rolled in around 7:00 pm. Found another blowdown this morning when I left for work. I may not get to it for a couple days. I want to split some cherry for bundles and make bags of kindling tonight. Have a God day!

    We just got back yesterday. Yes the hunting was good. We even had a few come in around the yard of the cabin that were fun to watch each morning during breakfast.
    Yes! We are ready now at the drop of hat if need be but, but ideally we will work a few more years in order to be able to keep the main house nearer to family, and then have the freedom to spend as many weeks and months as we want at the cabin, which is adjacent to our original homestead where our children were raised from babies.

    Good morning! Foggy to start, turning sunny and going up to 74, then more rain moving in. I split a little cherry last night and bundled it. I'll put that out in the roadside stand this weekend as smoking wood. I also made a jig to hold kindling so I can slip it into bags. Need to mow the back yard again today before the rain starts and make covers for my roadside stand to keep the wood dry. Never a dull moment. Have a God day!
