Long weekend away with the family was very nice. Good to be back home today. It was time to start cutting the grass again already. Just cut it last Wednesday! Anywho, got about 40% of it cut now. Break time. Still nursing a sore back, and running and walking a 1/2 marathon probably didn’t help with the healing. Hopefully get the rest cut between this evening and tomorrow. Hang on a sec. ……
Well Gasifier I'm going to bet that I'm in as much pain as you and I didn't run no stinkin 1/2 marathon! Yesterday, hung some fence panels. Today, cut some willows and brush along the shoreline.....then burned it. THEN, jumped on the wood pile once again and hauled two loads and threw it into the wood room. Stacked it right away. It always hurts more once you stop moving!

Yup When my mom was alive, this was the time of year to take the big boat out, and do the fall foliage tour down lake Champlain
Put my boat to bed as well today. Basically down to yard clean up on a on going basis as the pine needles just keep coming and coming. 26 mature white pines CANNOT drop their needles in unison.
Nice clean boat and trailer! Uncle has one with the same colors, says “Super Snapper” on the side. Lots of laughs at fish camp about that one. He says the decal is factory
That had to be a beautiful run. I’ve been up at the undeveloped end of Lake George in late summer and knew it just had to be gorgeous in a few more weeks.
