Thanks for your service NORTH. All Americans are safer today because of your dedication and service to country for 16 years.
Thank you and Welcome "Shipmate"! What was your rate in the CG? I have driven through Salem many times, I have a friend in Colchester. I was stationed in New London for 4 years at the USCG Academy.
I was the DC1 in the Power Lab! 2008-2012 Made Chief that year and transferred. There's only 4 billets for DC's there that I remember, one at the water front, a Warrant, DCCS Fire Marshall, and the DC1 at Mac hall.
Very well!!! I assisted him in his Concrete beam projects from time to time, especially disposal . When I got there , We had 1 little Miller shop welder and a POS ventilation system. We started up grading that and put in the new tables and Class room before I left. I also wrote the curriculum for the spreader bar lifting project from start to finish as well as the lesson plans for the welding labs. Don't know if it's still used, Professors come in and change things like they change their underwear. Dr. Foley and I were/are good fiends. I believe he's still there. Also, there was 1 little 20 gal air compressor there and (I) installed the screw drive Ingersol Rand thats there as well as every INCH of air piping in that lab! We were running air lines everywhere from that old Speedair compressor.
