Didn't make it to the tree in the woods, but did get the oak blow down next to the woodyard out and cleaned up. Pushed old wood and vines down into the gully. The fun started about 11:45AM, just when I was about through. Wisteria vines had gotten around a faucet dad had out there. They were strong enough to break the pipe...:headbang::headbang:...it was rusty. It was on the main line that also provides water to my sister's house, so it had to be fixed today...
Went to a store about 4-5 miles from home, got the parts to just cap it off, so well could be turned back on...guess what Mr Fix-it did...:whistle:...
I picked up the wrong size pipe fittings, grabbed 3/4", needed 1"...:picard::picard:...
Another trip back to the store, :zip::zip:
Got the right size and fixed it.
Got in bed after 2PM, up by 5:30PM for work...be a LONGGG NIGHT...

    Good morning, everyone.

Clear, cool, and dry to start the day. Very fall-feeling!.

A walk and grocery shopping today. Then, see what the day has in store for me.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

T.Jeff Veal I hate times like that but sadly have too many experiences of it. Fix things; wrong parts, and worst is little sleep then off to work. Nasty.

Had some pictures taken yesterday and found out why my back and legs are getting worse. Not a pretty picture at all. I'm almost afraid to do the same picture taking of my neck. Not sure what the future will bring.

Good morning everyone! It sure was nice to get a swim again, especially in a big pool! Hardly anyone else was there in the early afternoon before school let out.
We blew the air out of the pipes to our backyard pool, now it is truly put to bed for the winter.
Our solution to our privacy problem in back is going to be vines. Thick, leafy vines. My husband put up a frame made of conduit and chicken wire above our chain link fence. There is already Virginia creeper that we can train upwards, and I'll plant a grapevine or two. We'll see if it withstands the elements.
No wisteria, though! T.Jeff, I can only imagine how aggressive that gets in Georgia, it is bad enough here.
Today I'll mow the lawn, and go along on one of my husband's volunteer rides. He's taking an old lady who may have some dementia to the grocery store.

    Have a great Thursday!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 1 more night to work, if the rains holds off awhile this morning, we need to load up some hickory and deliver to a new customer. Only wood we have seasoned, except personal use wood. They also want a load of oak soon.
Good chance of rain into tomorrow, if it does, I can find something chainsaw related to do...
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

You won't need a grapevine if you add a little wisteria there , and I'll be glad to send a few bamboo shoots as well, that will make a great privacy screen. Even give your backyard a tropical feel...:dex::whistle:...or make you some :seasoned:poles...

X-ray and c-scan. See some ugly things going on that seems to promise worse things happening. Details are rather long...
