The Wood Wolverine terrible videography but you get the idea. As soon as it cools off some more, I’m gonna get some more of this athel pine - fresh/green. https://youtube.com/shorts/LzXze7Nardo?feature=share Water runs out after you cut it sometimes.
Athel cookie. Interesting wood. I have some big slabs that have been drying over the summer I need to pull out and look at. Playing with new to me old Stihl grinder This guy gave me a start today Someone else’s pic- I keep threatening to make LW bars with carbon fiber.
I should be going back up to the mountains to split those big oak chunks and the 42” pine spars I cut down. Probably a little noodling too, have a 61 I built ground up from parts into a 266 BGD, got some used ignition parts that are iffy, need to test real good. How long of a bar do you dare me to hang on it? :-D
Don't you west coasties run 3' bars on 60cc power heads. I've had my Sumi & Sugi bars "gum" up quicker than my Stihl ES bars. I think the Jap bars are a little tighter tolerance in the groove & nose sprocket.
Not in the desert with concrete wood. the wavy euc I posted a picture of sure is pretty. Pic doesn’t do it justice. But hard to deal with.
Headin up the mntns to make some firewood with my boy. His first time pulling a trailer and driving on the fwy. Empty car trailer and 05 f350 on the flat n straight, no worries.
took my soon to be ex 4runner to the desert with some friends and their peeJ Wind blew some cool weather in…finally
