I've discovered that this original, very low hours (3945) 1950 CAT D2 is absolutely invaluable when recovering, huge, twisted, and very hard wind blow Eucalyptus. The D2, along with several saws from huskihl ,helped make this firewood collecting episode a much more enjoyable experience, especially when I seemed to spend a lot of time jamming my saw!
Generally, it's not too bad, especially when using hydraulics and when it's green. It does make awesome firewood, that's why I persevere collecting it.
Outstanding pics and equipment Markds2 Your saws are well traveled but at least have been massaged by the best sausage fingers around. huskihl has done a lot for you!
Mark is a good egg. Started messaging me around a year and a half ago. Before I knew it he had talked himself into several ported saws
He has several baskets. One from Rattler, one from tree monkey, another from an Aussie, and 4 from me
It gives me a really nice feeling to be able to call Kevin a friend, not only does he do a superb job, but you couldn't get a nicer and more obliging guy to do busines with.
There's more at home my friend, I didn't have room for them all, and I was limited as to how many I could use at once! The MS661c, the Orange Dolmar 7900, and the little 019 in the case were all other people's saws I was testing out.
