Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Last day of 7AM-7PM for me...missed my church family this morning, but work is going smooth so far. Have a church board meeting when I get off tonight. Might catch a late ball game if one is on tonight. Beautiful day, hope we can get some wood split tomorrow before the rain comes, got a grass cutting job to do as well. Days are getting shorter.

Afternoon all. Woke up to sunny skies this morning. Got the laundry done this morning. Sitting here watching the Blue Jays score home runs. Valdi just scored his 48th home run. There is still hope for the playoffs. Boston and the Yankees still needs to lose today. We can only hope.

Cool rainy day here. So, after running a few errands, it'll be indoor stuff to do.

Good morning everyone! We've got your rainy weather now, rain all day, tonight, and into tomorrow. I've got plenty to do inside, whether I do it is another matter.
We took a long bike ride with my grandson yesterday, and he spent at least an hour reading Little Lulu comics. School is going well for him.
The first house getting built behind us is turning out to be a lot bigger than we expected. I keep forgetting to take a picture of it, I'll do it later.
No fire yet, it's about 60° outside.

Hi everyone. Traveled out to Indianapolis for the long weekend on business with new job. Had things to do on both Friday and Monday so stayed the weekend. First time away in three years. Travel was normal except for masks.

Wife called yesterday and said her son and brother wanted to mow the yard back in Vermont. I felt guilty with them mowing while I was walking around the Canal in downtown Indianapolis but I’ll get over it. With us mowing about 5 of the 10 acres, it’s been a case of mowing between raindrops in Southern Vermont this year. Get it when you can.
I’ll fly back tomorrow.

Then start getting wood moved into the shed(2 cords), porch(1/2 cord), and under the tractor shed(another cord or two) for my new to me Woodchuck furnace for the shop. Looking forward to see how it works this winter.

She had to turn the steam boiler on over the weekend. We got the order in for a whole house mini split type to be installed so this will be it’s last hurrah hopefully.

On a philosophical note,
To each and all, it seems funny that something like gathering firewood would pull different people from all walks of life together to discuss it an related aspects but when you think about it, gathering firewood has been going on even longer than building fires. Someone had to put those sticks together to light up way back then.
