Must be some hoarders around a campfire?

I was cleaning up the edge of my property, getting rid of a pile of dead hickory and tulip poplar sticks in the fire pit. Before I knew it I was adding large splits of punky red oak and elm. I guess it’s on tonight :D

Burning my favorite wood, invasive wood! Got some Norway maple roaring away and now it’s time for marshmallows.

Dang, brother. I just saw this. I'm so sorry. I'm extremely close with my dad. I couldn't imagine that. Hang in there, buddy.

I don’t do any late night wood runs, learnt my lesson there!

If I have been campfiring for a while I’ll just grab some off my stacks:jaw::rofl:

Yeah, we have a bunch of pine and hemlock on the property lots of large dead branches get shed and trees that die for whatever reason. Excellent campfire fuel.

I’ve got a whole bunch of hickory sticks to get rid of before winter. They’ve only been cut a little over a year ago so to the outdoor pit they go. These little snot spewing sticks are throwing some heat! Probably have one more small trailer load like this to go.
