Good morning! Weather just like yesterday. No rain until Saturday. My day only involves work in the office. Not nearly as much fun as some of you are having.

I haven't said anything about all of you who are dealing with the ailments and aging of loved ones. I've been down the path with both parents and I can appreciate how difficult it is. My mother spent multiple years in a nursing home before she passed and we were there every day doing all we could to encourage her and make her comfortable. I pray for strength and wisdom for you as you strive to do all you can for them and demonstrating your love. God bless you all.

 

The wise people on this forum have drilled into my head the concept of quitting when tired. From a safety viewpoint, that is good advice. I may even let Mother Nature take down the triple stem dead oak. It's not like I don't have any other wood to cut up.

Once again, thanks for the kind words and thoughts.

They feel the ear soreness I'd due to a bacterial infection. They are treating it with antibiotics both topical ear drops as well as oral antibiotics. Follow-up in a week.

The Dr said he's seen it multiple times before and has beaten it every time. That seemed to settle my dad's and my concerns.

Good morning everyone! It will be a little warmer and sunnier today, which I welcome. I still have to mess around with the water bags around the pool.
I was in Walmart yesterday, and it was pretty slim pickings in the kid's shoe department. A basic sneaker was $12.67, but only a few sizes available. I'm glad they are not raising the prices.
We're going to fill up our gas cans today in preparation for winter. I don't think gas prices will go down anytime soon.
Maybe this winter my wood burning will get some respect!

41 here this a.m. Supposed to be a nice day here before a week end of rain. Going to see if I can get the Walleyes to co operate and climb in the boat. Fishing season will soon be coming to a end so will make the best of remaining opportunities. Everyone have a great and safe day.
