Started to bring wood down to the house. Last few years I stacked it on the deck. Cribbed the one end and used the rail for support at other end. Once the cribbed end blew out during a heavier snow. So I decided to do it different this year. Doesn't look great but it functions and it didnt cost me a penny. Even the screws were reused. Supervisors checking out the progress Mix of black cherry, hackberry, sass, tree of heaven, pine, box elder, and ash for later. Should get me to mid december. Need to top off and cover yet.
Looks good to me, anything you can build for nothing but a little time & serves it's purpose is good imo.
Reminds me of an ex GF! I didnt reuse the screws though! Nothing worse than a toppled stack and at the most in opportune time too. Half @ssed is better than no @ssed! Good job there Biddleman
