Official FHC 2021 Secret Santa Gift Exchange

The Annual Tradition is Back!!!!
It's time for the 9th Annual Firewood Hoarders Club Secret Santa Gift Exchange!

I'm starting this a few weeks early this year, with all the expected delays in shipping. Please keep me posted if you expect a delay. I can pass that on to your Secret Santa Recipient.

As it has been for the last 8 years, members of FHC have had the opportunity to exchange a gift with one another. The gift can be anything, FHC related or Not FHC related. The gift exchange is open to anybody that is active on the site. The only thing that is asked is that you are active enough in the forum so that someone can figure what you would like or need from prior postings. Sometimes it's just that one statement to set off the spark, whether that's in the wood, smokehouse, burning, or the chatty side of the site... Part of the fun in all of this is always trying to figure out who your Secret Santa was and where they got their inspiration for your gift!

The Guidelines:

The gift can be purchased at a store and sent.

The gift can be purchased on the net and be directly or indirectly sent.

• We ask that if you purchase something that the spending limit stays at $40.
• If you do choose to purchase a Gift Cards/Certificates please send them to yourself then forward them onto your FHC Secret Santa victim. That way any issues can be sorted out fairly quick. If need be, create a new email address to remain anonymous for any card registration.

The gift can be hand made and sent.

• The creativity and uniqueness of the handmade gifts our members have come up with have been outstanding these last 8 years! We look forward to seeing what some of you will come up with this year!

There however is No Minimum.

If you do you send from the internet you might include "Secret Santa" somewhere in the line, cause there has been a few early opened packages that was unintended. With all the online shopping now a days....

The shipping cost is provided by the sending Secret Santa

Send an email to me at

with the following:

• in the subject include the words "2021 Secret Santa"
• in the body of the email include your name, FHC User Name, and a delivery address for the gift to be sent to.

Sign Up will be closed on Saturday November 6th at Midnight (central time)

After that I'll put the names in a hat and draw them out.
I'll do my best to try to keep previous years Secret Santa repeats from happening.

We ask that to keep the nerves down and keep things rolling smoothly, that the items arrive by December 3rd. That's three week before Christmas, allowing for those unexpected shipping delays. So please be considerate and allow for transit time of your gift. If there is a delay on the shipping or getting it to them, please let me know, so I can pass the information on. Plus its helpful to keep the tracking information, till you know that the gift has been received. Then also if you want you can let me know if a gift is delivered or about to be delivered, that way I can let them know to be on the look out too...Thank you.

Once your gift is received, please look forward to the thread usually named in the fashion of "2021 Secret Santa Reveal". This is where the "Thank you" notes, acknowledgement, happens and (as in FHC Protocol) pictures are posted. This is also a great way that the sender knows that the gift got to the recipient. I'll probably open that thread at the beginning of December.

As always, we look forward to your participation, as this is always a fun activity for the members here at FHC to participate in! I believe that the majority who have participated in the past years eagerly await what has become a FHC Tradition.
