    Good morning everyone! We have a break in the rain until tonight. I've got my grandson today, so that's good! Maybe we can work up enough of a sweat to take a dip in the pool.
    Next week looks cooler, so I'll finally close it. And rip out the tomato plants. Then summer will get the heave ho from me! llX0E61.jpg

    Rain again this morning. Power was off for 5 1/2 hours overnight. Back on before 6:00. We did not miss it as the generator just takes over when power goes out.

    Good morning! Currently 54* and rain. Clearing up in a couple hours. I woke up way too early. Bolted an IBC bladder to a pallet last night and drilled holes in it to store shorts and uglies. Lots of wood to cut today along with mowing and spraying weeds. Have a God day!

    Good afternoon all. Moving more wood to the porch. This was split last summer. Some of the is on the wet side. We have had such a wet summer . Should be fine though.
    Got my Iowa football later this afternoon. My NFL teams aren't playing this weekend.

    Good afternoon everyone.. Thank you Jeff and Dennis. I had to make the move to get Hospice to come Monday. Hard to do.. They will help with a bed and wheel chair exc when the time comes along with come in 1/2 hour a day to check on her med needs. They also will help give a shower 2 times a week witch is a great help because Im having back problems from picking her up at times. She sure has gone downhill the last 16 weeks in many ways. Im hoping the Hospice people can help her sleep at night and get the swelling down in her feet, legs and belly.. Im thinking this may be her bad heart doing this. One of the hardest things is she doesnt no who I am for a while now and gets mad at times.. I no this is all part of it . I hope you all dont mind me talking from time to time about this...I no I need to be strong and this may last for a little time or a while yet. Lastly,, everyone enjoy your loved ones. Thanks for reading this.

    Having been thru the same situation X 2 I know what you are going thru and feeling as well. Stay strong and as T Jeff Veal said, put your trust in God for support and guidance. He has a plan for all of us.

    mat60, my heart goes out to you in this. It was bad enough (actually worse than terrible or unGodly) for me with Judy but what you have to be going through is perhaps worse. Do your best to keep strong. I am glad you are getting some help.

    Hospice should be a big help for you, they won't be there much of the time but you will have someone managing her health. They will be able to tell you what's going on and what to expect. I hope they can make her comfortable.
