I left that one a little "rustic", next time your down I will fine tune it if you want. I can throw some more paint on it, that poplar I carved it out of definitely pulls it in. That FHC was out of an apple wood slab, I saved some of it back too. I am glad you liked it though, I had a real good time looking forward to shooting the breeze again.

It's funny how Michigan and OS fans view each other as a bunch of mouth-breathing knuckle draggers. I had an fresh out of college engineer from UM work for me for a while. Her hatred of OS was....strong.

Same thing down here between our USC or carolina and Clemson. They just downright hate each other usually and want the other to loose. I like to see both teams do well. When they play each other I of course pull for my Alma matter (spelled right? Auto correct spelled it?).

Lol, at least she went there (and had a reason to root for them). Most of the Michigan fans around here just don't have any better sense... BUT, I can understand if they were born and raised there, or like to root for the under dog lol.
I went to OSU for a year before transferring to a private school that was "full time" friendly, which I didn't feel OSU was. I worked 40+hours a week, was in the Air National Guard, and in school full time for most of my time in college. Looking back, I don't know how I had much time for anything- but wouldn't do it any other way.

I am getting ready to advertise Michigan carvings, what do you think is a fair price guys? If $50-60 is fair for an OSU carving, do you think $150-200 would be appropriate for a Michigan carving? lol

I know I can/should get more... but, I had one similar that I wanted to get out of here (a month ago), and posted it up on a FB site- pretty much to get it out of the way, thinking I wouldn't get any quick response. Well, someone bought it the exact minute I had posted it (when the thought that I sold it to cheap occurred to me lol), and I had a slew of requests come in behind it. A nice gal, messaged me and said that she would take the next one, and I felt bad moving the price up on her.

Funny enough Clem, I have family not far from you- in Anderson. If you ever find yourself needing one, it can probably be arranged. ;)

Are you serious on the price? $60?

I would go $200 at the minimum. I don't know the time involved, but I know numerous people who would pay good money for one of those. I work with some Die Hard Ohio State fans. 14 of us went down for the home opener last year. It was a Blast! Tailgated across from the Horseshoe!!

Anyways, if you ever make another? I know a guy ;)

MS660 cylinder I couldn't get to clean up lol. Took the top off of her, making a pencil holder/ paper weight for my friend that runs a saw/ small engine shop. I didn't get him a shop warming present yet, and I am going to put this on a piece of finished Cherry (or whatever I come up with) with his shop name engraved on the wood.
