    Hope your correct. The few I've been around were mesh. Otherwise they would turn into swimming pools!

    I've been running plastic sheeting from the hardware. I've used 3mil but found 6mill this year, $16 & $35 respectively. They are not PVC so the sun doesn't rot them. The more likely damage is punctures from sharp corners below, or pointy things on logs on top.

    I remedied that part by tying paracord over the piles and sheeting every 2 to 4 feet.
    The sheeting comes 10' x 25', a 4' slice goes under the pile, and the 6' slice goes on top. (About a foot hangs over the edge along the sides, my stacks are 48" wide)

    If treated carefully, I hope to re use those.
