I remember meeting Jon's kid a couple of years ago at a GTG up north. I was impressed with how respectful he was. He didn't have a problem helping out when asked, or going off in the woods to explore when he got bored with the adults.

At our house it went something like "I let you lay your head here, and you aren't starving, get to work!"
I never got paid until I went to work for the neighbor...well, there was a small savings account that got funded by my parents every year...they probably figured that was my "allowance"...I didn't make much apparently

Agreed...but did you see the price before!
Earlier this year I bought a few sheets from a guy here locally that peddles "seconds" lumber for $20 sheet and that was half of the store price! :faint:

They peaked at 10.50 or so here I believe, keeping in mind our dollar is worth less. At the 4.something range now. Not quite what it was, but acceptable after seeing it at 10+. Crazy that a 1x4 is more expensive now..

Good stuff as long as it's kept protected from moisture.

Admittedly, I know several people who've used it on exteriors of sheds and painted it. Held up remarkably well for a long time, I'll be honest.
