My circa 1992 026 is leaking oil from the cap. Any recommendations for a replacement. Old screw in type. Dont want flippy caps either.
I didnt check, just noticed oil leak. Tightened but i think i may have stripped it as it tightens then "pops"and gets loose again.
This is interesting. If they make replacement old style caps that fit my flippy cap 260 pro than I may ditch the flippies and go old school. Hate those flippies!
You can’t swap from flippy caps to screw caps, or vice versa. But there are replacement flippy caps on eBay that don’t have all the fancy crap inside of them and actually work really well
Thanks huskihl , for clarifying that. The oil cap on my saw requires a lot of fiddling around to get it to seal properly. Even a flippy that works ok would be an improvement.
