No, sir...she has over a load in her barn from last year. We stacked this in 1 row, she will probably get another load in a couple months. Getting her on a goood rotation...might even get her on the 3 yr plan...
Made some good progress yesterday. Got that pile of logs bucked and staged by the splitter... Got over 2/3 cord split and loaded...got 2 1/2 rows to finish this morning Before we started yesterday, I brought a couple logs from the tree service drop zone down to the processing area. Got a big boy on deck next. It was all the 'Bota wanted...lol Used a 3 saw combo yesterday. Echo 2511t makes a great marking/trim saw, MS180 cuts all the smaller logs fast and the XS029 took care of the rest. Well, time to get busy again...
I didn't get the big boy bucked up yet. I wouldn't be afraid to use the XS029 on it, if we didn't have a bigger saw. It is a very strong runner. I'm planning on warming up the 461 w/28" bar on it this evening when I get off. Had enough in that big pile of rounds to get a stacked 1 cord load, with about 5 or 6 rounds left.
My log weight calc app said it weighs this... It has been cut probably 6 months or more, so might have lost a little. Probably 2800 # maybe...
We got that load of oak and hickory finished and delivered. Another happy, satisfied customer. He had only gotten pickup loads before...

Are you considering building the trailer up to make it a 3-high? Or would that exceed the weight/towing capacity of the trailer and/or towing vehicle?
I have thought about maybe putting a board around the top, for when we throw the wood on the trailer from 1 of the sheds... Have to stack the first 2 rows and the throw the rest on to get a full cord on there. It does have a roll up tarp on the front. It is a 10k rating, very good brakes on both axles. I've had a weighed net load of 4 tons of sand for a short haul. Might have tested it with a few loads of logs too... Our truck has been beefed up to pull it. Added air bags, reinforced the chassis, torque cam in the engine and load leveling hitch... We can haul the Kubota on there too.
Hey buZZsaw BRAD the MS461 answered the call yesterday after work. What'cha think, did she do a good job? Of course, since I had just hand filed that 92 DL chain really sharp, I had to go metal detecting.... About the 3rd or 4th cut, around the big knot...got a few small dings, still cut pretty good, those Stihl chains are tough...
Liked, subbed, and commented on the YT video. That's such a cool setup you have there with the truck and the trailer. F-150 right? I didn't know it could handle 10K in towing. I can do 6800 in the Tacoma but that's a pipe dream. No where to store a trailer. I'd have to get rid of a Mini Cooper.
Very impressive! . Kinda makes you wanna cry when its nice and sharp, tearing though a big log and BAM, metal! Im not a fan of hand filing 25" plus chains. Ive really fallen in love with the 22" Carlton bar that came with jo191145's 361. Had two chain that came with it and ive bought a third custom cut. Use it on the 500 and have on all the .375 bars. Its not as unwieldy as a longer bar. Of cours when propped up on the forks a longer bar is more advantageous.
