Good morning everyone! I have my grandson today, he's off from school for the long weekend. It'll be too cool to swim, so we'll ride bikes, split wood, and maybe hit a playground.
Yesterday my husband and I took a drive to look for high water. We found some, this is Chesterfield gorge.

Happy Friday! Another crisp near-autumn morning with sunny skies in the forecast. Took the dog to the groomer. He needs monthly haircuts to keep from developing an afro. My father-in-law was transported to a pulmonary rehab hospital not quite 2 hours away yesterday afternoon. We're headed off to see him after work, although we'll have less than an hour of visitation time left when we get there. He's doing better but now in a strange environment and off his routine. Plus checking in on him every day won't be possible. This weekend should hold lots of work in the wood yard. Have a God day!

 

I hope his rehab goes well and he is home soon.

 

Morning All. Dark out there so we are waiting for the skies to lighten up before going for a walk. Lovely day yesterday at Mom's. We were going through some old photos that my brother took when he worked as a professional photographer and came across some awesome pictures of our oldest on her second Christmas. There was a picture of me kneeling and I thought Wow, I could do that then. Now a days, just the thought of kneeling hurts.

Another busy day today with the possibility of rain.

Good afternoon y'all. It's FABULOUS FRIDAY. Had to start my 7AM-7PM shift today, was busy this morning. I had some good days off. We got the trailer load finished and delivered, 1 yard cut and sprayed the edges. Tried to cut the other job with the mower like we did last time, way to thick now. Had to get tractor and brush hawg. That did the trick, it is a power line right of way next to her yard...got home about 8:45pm, glad tractor had lights...

Another coolish, dry start to the day.

I'll be mowing the yard this morning. I turned the compost pile yesterday, after moving wood to the deck. I'll be bagging the grass clippings to add to the compost.

I'll then put together a baked stuffed zucchini and give the oven another run. I've never made one, but seems pretty straightforward.
