If the company that made it is not that far away possibly give them a chance to make it right.
Have them googly FHC and read the thread "your processor sucks". Then they can show up at your place with a team of technicians and engineers and split your wood for ya !

Ha, no kidding! Mike the tech from the rental place knows the Dyna guys pretty well. He told me flat out that their new design on the feed deck & clamp system is nowhere near as good as the older models. The message will get to them I'm sure.
In the mean time just for fun I found something to spend the money on. 20 cord of css Maple Oak & Ash. Been there for 2-3 years. Bought the whole lot.

Yes sir, thanks for the good laugh! I'm gonna steal that for sure! Sure takes some pressure off in getting dry product to my customers. Guy gave me a good deal by the cord so I can still turn a bit of a profit & keep good customers happy. I'm gonna give him a hand dropping 6 dead Pine trees at his place later in the year too.

That is good and the right thing for him to do. It cost you plenty of time for no much return.

Bingo! You won the grand prize!

Now I hope your customers appreciate the good dry wood rather than like some who will actually scoff because it is so dry.

Thanks Dennis. They do understand dry wood & good burning practice, I keep my sales relatively limited & make sure I send out good product. Much better for all involved imo.

Big dump trailer holds two cord. You pay for fuel & pain & suffeteing for driving thru chitcago & you can have the wood.

Just barge it across the pond. Or take the ferry!!
Chitcago is right!! Not long ago the Mrs and I went through there in a friday rush hour thunderstorm
with a overloaded car hauler, load bigger than the mirrors and a rental pickup that kept dropping out and turning on the trailer brakes. She looked like she was in a plane going down, head between her legs whimpering.

Don't know for sure, but loaded like that I'd guess maybe 750. Pulls like a dream. Pic is deceiving, truck was in a bit of a low spot.
