Why some people shouldn't even get "not even a pickup truck"

From the dog park yesterday..... Notice this fool in a Ridgeline took up two spots? This guy can't even drive/ park a not a pick up truck trucklet. :picard:

Notice I had to park across the street.....:headbang: there's a pole next to that white car, so that was a no go for a full size truck. Had we taken the 4runner, we'd have parked there.

I suspect he did on purpose so nobody would park next to him and risk dinging him as mat60 mentioned. They do this and other similar things allllll the time in my neck of the woods.

I've learned to ignore it or it will eat you alive with constant anger.

Lol. No, that's a city street with another park on the other side of the road. I could've parked on the grass and half of the spot to the side of him. But I didn't want to be "that guy".

The spot on the drivers side of the Honda looks useable?

we generally park in the less popular parts of parking areas. Too many people that don’t give a f…

Unfortunately there is a pole there. The 4runner fits in that spot, but a full size truck will end up too far into the road when parked there.

I always park with enough space between me and any other vehicle. Usually I take that last spot on the end, that the "honder" was double parked in. Otherwise I'll go across the street.

The worst part is that being at the end of the row, he could have parked way to the right at the edge of the grass and been plenty far enough over to prevent door dings.

I came out of an appt out of all places the hospital a few weeks ago, as kid and I were walking back to leave another truck pulled up next to me-this truck was newer and bigger than my duramax and was over the line. Normal parking spot over the line in a handicap space. Anyway I walked to my door and opened it the crack it could and carefully rested it on his door while keeping eye contact on him the whole time. He just kept glancing at me and was well aware my door resting on his truck. Jackwagon, he's lucky I could squeeze into the cracked door though it was hard for me to get in without my normal grabbing the wheel to get in. I wonder if the blue Ridgeline thought he was better than others too?

This comes to mind when I see people do that. I agree with above statements, he can park it just fine and he put it like that on purpose.

OMG, I know exactly where that was videotaped, that was in the Gresham Station shopping center parking lot maybe 3-4 miles from where I grew up

I live up on Mt. Hood, East of there, now, I will have to watch for those distinctive Jeeps, a bit more modified than mine is, but they seem like some Great Wheelin Buddies to meet

Stuff like that is annoying. I’ll take two spaces sometimes when I’m out in the truck. I could use one space but it would be crowded because of the dually wheels. If I take up two spaces I park in the far remote part of the lot where nobody parks anyway.
If I was in your situation I would have been annoyed and walked away but I would also want to toss fries or bread crumbs around the car so birds crap on it.

I will often “Park Out” so my vehicle doesn’t get dinged, or the “Big Red Truck” being an F350 Crew Cab Long Bed can be awkward in tight parking lots. It simply Amazes me how often, I come back to my vehicle, and some Jack Wagon has parked close to my Drivers Door, and there are 4-6 empty spaces on either side of my vehicle :headbang:

Being that it was at the DOG PARK, in the original post, I would have been tempted to “Deposit “ any “Dog Dirt” my dog, or any other dogs had left behind, either in the “Bed”  of that ridgeline, or on it’s hood. That wouldn’t cause any damage, but should “Convey a Message” about their inconsiderate parking habits

I'da backed in just to his left about an inch from his door & told him I was following his example of how to straddle the line. Yes I've done this. Can't really ding your truck if he can't get to his door.

Lol. I'm not really a fan of running boards, but they do stick out a good amount, preventing any door dings.
