Just more typical talking points. Yes there is a hurricane in the gulf most likely the forecast is blown out of proportion for the normal doom and gloom effect. For your information the USGS was made originally to map the US not predict volcanic eruptions.

 

The carbon emitted by the fossil fuels burnt results in in an exponential gain in BTUs for heating. I believe it actually is one of the better ways (more carbon neutral) to use fossil fuels.

More talking points you choose to ignore. Look, you can’t have it both ways: 1) they can’t predict anything. 2) more talking points when they do predict things correctly.

 

I am going to make one more post on this thread and then I’m going to turn the other cheek and let it all go. I give much credit to the mods on this site. They set high standards and are usually very clear in what they expect and what they will and won’t tolerate. However, they have let this one get away. Not have they only allowed personal attacks and name calling, some of them have “liked” such comments. I come to this site because just about every other site allows that behavior and it has a negative impact on the usefulness of what they are trying to accomplish. The claim is made this is the most down to earth forum out there and I usually agree. If anyone has any issues, mods or just regular members, with material I post, contact me directly and we can settle it amicably and in private. Please know this, I am no snowflake and I can dish it out and take abuse thrown my way. I just don’t come here for that kind of banter and up till recently, I feel neither do any other members. Welder Dave, when it comes down to it, you and I probably have a lot more similar views on many things than what appears in here. If you ever venture up near the Hammonton/Medford area, let me know. I’m sure we could have some beers and enjoy each other’s company as you seem like a good guy.

What I am fighting is having a$$clowns in government who do whatever the HE!! They want, telling me how I have to live. They make us wear masks and they don’t when the cameras are off. They will keep their mansions and private jets and we will be driving useless electric cars. They have sold our country to the highest bidder. I see who is pushing global warming, I have no respect for any of them. They are turning this country into $hithole!

 

I had a national gaurd friend that was there also. He said it was third world dumb. He was shooting dogs that were eating the dead bodies. After a few days the doggies were going after the weekend warriors.

 

Sorry, I meant He was shooting Dogs, not we. I don't care if the dogs were just trying to survive or not. The coyotes I trap are just trying to survive also. They die just the same. Livestock protection.
