All the concrete came out of the end of the hose so I guess it was a win.

We use what they call a designer mix, it’s specified by the state dot that we contract for. I’m really not sure what’s in it. The inspector for this job has a real hard on for not adding water to the mix and not having a slump more than 5. Makes things interesting. And I rely on the concrete trucks water for clean out. Today he showed up with less than 80 gallons for him to clean out, I get the rest. Today we had a 120 feet of hose out, I used every last drop in the truck and a few 5 gallon buckets I keep on my truck just in case.

    Rough day for sure.

I used to love going to those events. Still would, but too dusty and I have to take a mobility scooter. I've done that, but now my wife won't go most anyplace.

I can't blame your wife, the cases are picking up again so home isn't a bad place to be.

Good luck with that. I have that dry macro degeneration. My distortions, unfortunately are dead center, rt eye. No such thing as a straight line anymore. I try to read with my left eye. Praying it doesn't spread to that eye.

She and I both had our vaccinations, but we are high risk. We really have to be careful.

We both are too but like you said, we're both being careful. Our county is having about 50 cases or more per day lately and we just had our first death since May for a total of 98 according to our county health department.

If you have some ranch dressing powder for salad mix, slice up some cucumber, put the cucumber and ranch dressing powder in a plastic bag and shake it up. The cucumbers will be coated and taste fantastic without the fat and calories of the mayonaise.
