don't know if these pics will work. First timer here Splits are mostly ash but there's also a few cherry logs and some old black walnut tops that where logged 5 or so years ago All the stacks are 6 deep
Ya it helps alot...I skid the full logs to the other side of the property to season which is where I do most of the fall/winter wood work
Thanks. I got 24 facecord stacked, probably 8 face split ready to be stacked, and I would guess at least 30 or so in random piles of rounds. Might as well be money in the bank lol
I'm getting a stove next year. Had to put it off another year because I promised my wife central air. Been selling wood about 5 years now. A little more each year. Last year did a little over 100 face. And my son has a firewood stand too. Can't wait to get a stove though
Jack is going to shut down the convenience and grocery store business. Nice piles and setup! Makes me want to get after it. When it stops being hot af everyday.
Last year was the first year for the stand and he made $944! Not bad for a pretty rural road that doesn't get much traffic. He's saving up for a side by side and "none of those weak electric ones with the batteries. A real gas one." Lol
Welcome to FHC Kevin! Nice looking setup & I'd say your boy is off to a good start for sure. My grandson & I do bagged campfire wood it sells well here. Glad to have you aboard for sure.
Thanks amateur cutter ! Been watching the forums for awhile now... Everyone on here seems very good hearted and salt of the earth people... or at least salty lol
Not gonna sit here and brag, but I've met & gotten to know quite a few members here in person. I have made some lifelong friends through this forum. Yes, some of us are a bit salty lol. Stick around long and you'll see people helping one another in myriad ways simply because it's the right thing to do. You'll feel like part of the family very quickly.
I'm definitely looking forward to meeting some good people from this site someday as I see similar qualities in all of us. I like the get er done type of people.
