    A part that was to be ordered, was not. That person is currently on vacation.

    Happy Monday! Heat and humidity continue throughout the week. Ended up with a surprise at church yesterday. My mother-in-law texted my wife asking us to come right over. Turns out my father-in-law passed out. We got there and helped him back into bed, then called 911 as he was very week, had hit his head and wasn't very responsive. After taking him to the ER, he ended up being admitted and tested positive for COVID pneumonia. He'll be there at least 5 days on IVs and oxygen. Any prayers would be appreciated. I managed to get the front yard mowed and bagged yesterday evening. Payroll is almost finished and I plan to split more wood into an IBC tote tonight. Have a God day!

    Yes, from now on we'll really notice the days getting shorter and the sun dipping further south. But as for me, I will welcome fall; my favorite time of the year.

    Hurricane Henri is gone....finally. It spawned 3 tornadoes ~20 miles from here. Lots of rain last night.

    Good morning everyone! Henri is gone, but we are left with tropical heat and humidity. I need to mow the lawn again. The grass has stayed green all summer, never went dormant.     We need some rain here. There is a line of storms coming across the pond now but the forecast is for them to break up before they get here.
